A MESSAGE FROM ALICIA
I look forward to introducing you to our wonderful programs. Our EQUINE EXPLORATION Series is titled Grace, Balance & Harmony - each is it's own step on the path to creating healthy, fulfilling relationships! I am grateful to be able to provide a space where horses guide people through personal transformation.
Our programs have been developed for all who seek growth and life changing experiences. The horses are our friends who help make that possible - you will play with Gypsy, KoKoPelli, Chapeyo, Moonshine and Feya Bella. Come join us on the journey, you will love the creativity it brings to your life!
ALICIA OVERTON
Alicia has over 20 years experience working with horses. She has taught all levels of riding and has competed extensively on the Hunter/Jumper circuit around the country. She has created and implemented complete
training and management programs for private ranches and equestrian centers. Alicia has spent the last several years with wild horses studying herd behavior and natural communication techniques. She is always seeking to advance knowledge and skills that keep communication and relationships healthy and natural. She studies the work of the greatest natural horsemen in the world and aspires to use that knowledge to create a lasting
community of like-minded horse people to share and grow together.
DOUGLAS CAPUTO
Douglas Caputo attended the University of Utah on scholarship for the Actor Training Program. Doug has performed at Theatre 138 at the University of Utah and the Salt Lake Acting Company. In Los Angeles, Doug studied with Susan Strasberg, Sally Kirkland and Eric Morris, and he has been teaching the Eric Morris System in Southern Utah for the past five years. He has numerous theatre, film and television credits, and is the cofounder of The Space Between Theatre Company.
Using techniques and exercises from the acting world, Douglas will facilitate workshop participants in accessing a grounded state of relaxation and maintaining an aware sense of natural “being”, which promotes a deep level of connection in all your relationships.
LOCATION
The Desert Flower Ranch is located in scenic Dammeron Valley just 20 minutes outside of St. George, Utah.
This privately owned ranch offers a comfortable and rejuvenating space to learn and experience nature.
The Desert Flower Casita is available on a limited first come basis for workshop participants who don't mind sharing their space and would like over night accommodations.
