Higher Ground Horsemanship allows people to find grace without dominance, balance without force, and harmony without coersion.
Higher Ground believes that horses are individuals. Our courses are specifically designed to teach you how to read horses, to understand what motivates each horse and then how to use that information to create a balanced relationship. When we truly understand a horses behavior and emotion we can create an astonishing bond and friendship with our equine partner.

Our workshops focus on language, leadership and love. We teach you to understand the language of horses and how you can best communicate with your horse. We start with strength of bond then lightness and response - a formula for success both on the ground and in the saddle.
We assume that you already love horses if you have found us so now is the time to build a graceful, balanced and harmonious relationship!
